The mechanics of fusing Pokémon is the main attraction of Pokémon Infinite Fusion, so it is advisable to understand well the rules governing this new way of obtaining new Pokémons to enjoy it 100%.
Fusions in Infinite Fusion – Basics, Rules and Tips
There are just a couple of details to understand and keep in mind when merging two Pokémon:
- When we merge 2 Pokémon in this game, we are merging the head of one with the body of the other. Therefore, each combination of 2 Pokémon will be able to give 2 different results : Head of Pokémon A + Body of Pokémon B and Head of Pokémon B + Body of Pokémon A
- Each of these two different possibilities will have their own stats and peculiarities, so it is advisable to use Fusiondex or the Calculator beforehand, to check which one interests us more.
As a curiosity it is worth noting that there are more than 90,000 of 176,000 fusions that already have their own custom sprite (that is, they already have their own design created by the community). The remaining ones are auto-generated by literally putting together the head and body of the merged Pokémon, without any additional changes.
Special Fusions and Curiosities of Infinite Fusion
From the basic rules, cases arise in which special fusions can occur, which must meet specific characteristics:
Double Fusions or Self-Fusion: They arise from the combination of two equal Pokémons, resulting in the improved version of the same. Personally, in this group are some of my favorites.
Triple Fusions: In the post-game area of the game you can find a Team Rocket machine with which to fuse 3 different Pokémons. There are only a few specific Pokémons that can be fused together, so we recommend you take a look at the Triple Fusion guide to find out what they are.
